 Help Our School Save Box Tops
Clip and save Box Tops for Education from General Mills food products. Send them to school with your child and Clarksville Elementary will earn cash - ten cents a Box Top, up to $10,000 per school. A flyer was sent home recently showing all of the products with box tops we can use. Also, each 6 weeks the class with the most box tops will win an incentive reward.

PK-2 Bounce Party!!
PK-2 students were rewards for positive behavior for the first six weeks of school on Friday with a Bounce Party. All students with an overall average of 95 or above in citizenship for the first six weeks were invited. Students enjoyed bouncing in a bounce castle and sliding down the inflatable slide. Students will be rewarded for positive behavior again next six weeks with a Fall Festival. To view slide show click here.
As an extension to the second grade CSCOPE Natural Resources unit, County Extension Agent Lynn Golden was a guest speaker at Clarksville Elementary. Mrs. Golden spoke to the second grade students concerning the different types and uses for soil. We appreciate the time Mr. Golden spent enhancing the education of our students.
HB 1059 requires school districts to post the list of immunization requirements and recommendations in English and Spanish. Click here to view the information.

Vaccines are $10 for the public and free for Medicare. If you are unable to pay, the clinic staff can work with you.

We have learned so much already this year that we are showing tremendous gains on our benchmarks!! ......and it's only the middle of the year!
Results of the TPRI Reading Benchmark are attached. It compares the scores from the beginning of the year (BOY) to the middle of the year (MOY). Kudos to all the teachers who are working so hard so that our students are successful!
